This service is ideal if your garden feels sparse, overgrown, or lacking in harmony. Often, the structure of a garden is sound, but the planting no longer does it justice. Through thoughtful selection and placement, Nicola creates schemes that feel balanced, layered, and in tune with their surroundings.​​

HOW IT WORKS
1 | Initial Consultation and Quote:
The process begins with an on-site consultation to understand your ideas and assess the existing planting. You will then receive a written summary of the meeting, along with a clear breakdown of the design fees. If you wish to go ahead, Nicola will arrange to survey the garden or borders that are going to be redesigned.
2 | The Garden Masterplan:
Depending on the complexity of the planting redesign, Nicola might suggest that she produces a garden masterplan for you first. These plans detail the overall structure of the garden and are particularly useful if you would like to add new borders to the existing space. ​

3 | Planting Plans:
Tailored to your garden’s aspect, soil conditions and style, the plans provide precise plant and tree varieties, their position on the masterplan and quantities. There is also a separate plan that details how spring and summer bulbs can be incorporated through your borders. All plants are detailed on accompanying moodboards too.

4 | Installation and Aftercare:
If you would like help bringing your new planting to life or don't want the hassle of finding specific plants, Nicola can supply plants and implement planting redesigns.
She also offers maintenance guides and can assist with long-term consultancy and check-ins to ensure that your garden continues to be a beautiful and welcoming space for many years to come.

Each project is approached individually, with the level of planting redesign required shaped by the size, scope and ambition of the garden. After the initial meeting, you will receive a carefully considered proposal outlining the recommended design stages and investment.
